TOKO APPOINTS LANCTÔT LTD AS ITS CANADIAN DISTRIBUTOR
Toko products to start shipping from Lanctôt headquarters next week
Montreal, QC.– Nov. 13, 2015 – Lanctôt Ltd. will start shipping Toko products to retailers as early as Nov. 16, 2015.
“Toko’s to-the-point line offers waxes and tools that fit a wide variety of needs. It’s a clean and simple system. Less tools are needed for a day on the mountain,” said Richard Wolvers, Toko’s Canadian Brand Manager.
In 2010, Swix Sport AS purchased Toko. The two brands now coexist under Toko-Swix Sport AG in Altstätten, Switzerland.
“Toko is a great addition to Swix. Now Lanctôt Ltd. has become a one stop shop for ski waxes and tools in Canada. Given our expertise in this area, we believe the two brands can address all of our Alpine and Nordic customer needs. The ski business is our know-how and for over 60 years we’ve been pleased to offer the best brands to our customers,” said Wolvers.
A team of 11 sales reps will sell and promote Toko across Canada. The sales reps have worked for Toko’s parent brand Swix, and can offer retailers the best of both brands. Repeat orders for both brands can be placed 24-hours a day with Lanctôt’s new B2B online ordering system.
One of Toko’s hidden strengths is its Care Line, which offers products like no other. Specializing in products for washing and treating outerwear, the Care Line also consists of environmentally conscious products to treat your backpacks, softshells, high-quality functional textiles and boots. With Toko’s Care Line you can have peace of mind when it comes to providing optimal care and effectively protecting and preserving your equipment.
Booking appointments for Fall 2016 deliveries will start in January. Both Toko and Swix will be at the SIA tradeshow from Jan. 28-31, 2016 in Denver, CO.
